I will be starting some sessions with a personal trainer in the next week and wanted to add various supplements to the regime. My goals are to tone overall and in doing so loose 5-10 lbs max.
There will be 3 - 1 hour sessions per week, they will alternate between heavy days (heavy weight, lower rep count, tad longer break in between sets) to circuit days (high intensity circuit training). During my days off (days that I will not be in the gym) I will be training martial arts (3 classes per week, 1.5 hours per class)
What supplements should I be taking here - I have an idea that I need a good multi-vitamin as well as a protein supplement, however, are there any other products... I am somewhat confused when I walk into the local GNC store, I mean were do I start? So many products, so many different brand names - I mean which ones can I trust and which ones should I stay clear of?
