What do you think about eating low fat instead of low carbo? I have tried the low carbo version and I felt like I had no energy. I am an endurance athlete.
What do you think? |

| I believe balance is definately the way to go. The 30 30 40 is still my philosophy. |

I agree - balance is key, regardless of what the media and bookstores would have you believe.
However, that being said, if I would go overboard on anything, it would be protein. Beverly International has a magazine that showcases bodybuilders who use their supplements, and they are all natural athletes. Many of them are on high protein, LOWER carb programs, although none of them advocate cutting out carbs to any extreme. |

Depends on your goals actually.
To say that one should stick to 30/30/40 or 50/30/20 or low fat or low carb or whatever at ALL times would not be optimal. If you are bulking or cutting, or distance running or boxing...your nutritional needs are going to be different...and should reflect your goals and activity. |

Definetly. If you have a job of sitting all day, then lower your fat and carb intake during that time. As you get off work you'll increase them accordingly and on. Bulking up is different just as stated above. |
